KIC is facilitating partnerships between agricultural specialists and entrepreneurs from the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST). This initiative is geared towards developing technology-based agribusiness startups in Ghana to tackle the following areas:

  • Improving access to certified agricultural inputs
  • Managing on-farm production and post-production facilities
  • Developing innovative smallholder outgrower schemes
  • Improving access to technical and market information for farmers
  • Creating effective channels to market agricultural products
  • Connecting farmers with appropriate sources of financing
  • Identifying, tracking, and monitoring crops and livestock
